GPD Group

Welcome! Open enrollment for GPD Group’s Flexible Spending Account plan is now through December 31, 2014.  If you want to participate in the plan for the 2015 plan year, you must enroll before that date.

If you are not already familiar with the FSA plan and how it works, use the links to the right  to learn about the plan. The FSA brochure contains important information about when you can (and can’t) change your election, qualified expenses and how using the plan saves you money. The Savings Calculator page will show you approximately how much you will save in taxes based on your personal income and tax situation.

Use-it or Roll-Over $500. The Treasury Department’s ruling on October 31, 2013 modifies the “use-it-or-lose-it” provision to allow the rollover of up to $500 of unused Health FSA funds to the next plan year. This means that the risk of forfeiting your FSA healthcare contributions is reduced! Plus, the FSA rollover provision eliminates the mad scramble at the end of the plan year to spend remaining Health FSA funds. Now is the perfect time to take a closer look at a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and take advantage of increased tax savings.

Benny FSA Debit Card: Use the card to pay for eligible healthcare expenses at physicians’ offices, hospitals, retail stores, etc. The debit card greatly reduces the number of claims that you must submit for reimbursement! However, keep your receipts as some debit card transactions will require that you submit documentation of the card swipe to NEO. It is important that you read the Debit Card Guidelines and the Debit Card Brochure on the right sidebar to understand how the card program works.

You may make changes to your election any time up to the deadline date noted above. Make the changes you want and resubmit your election. Your prior election will be overwritten.

Please contact NEO directly if you have any questions about the plan or have problems with your election process, 1-800-775-3539 or admin@FlexNEO.com.

For all plan years beginning in 2020, the amount that employers may allow employees to carryover from one plan year to the next will be indexed in step with the maximum salary reduction amount permitted each year. This means that $550 may be carried over from a plan year starting in 2020 to the following plan year beginning in 2021.
